JAPANESE SILVER ENAMEL FLORAL BOWLS PAIR MITSUYUKI HISAYUKI - A fine pair of Japanese late Meiji to Taisho period double-walled silver and enamel bowls. Each bowl features an outer pierced shell rendered as a continuous garden scene filled with relief-sculpted flora, including irises, wisteria, chrysanthemums, and leafy foliage accented in vibrant polychrome enamels. The solid silver interiors are finished with a central hand-enameled peony medallion at the well. The undersides of both bowls display silver purity stamps reading gin 1000 for pure silver, accompanied by engraved Japanese maker signatures, reading Mitsuyuki on one and Hisayuki on the other. meiji period, taisho era, Asian decorative art, repousse metalwork, reticulated silver, silver 1000, cloisonne, plique a jour, floral tea bowl, Japanese antiques.
