PAIR OF GORHAM STERLING SILVER OVERLAY GLASS DECANTERS - A pair of lead glass decanters with sterling silver overlay by the Gorham Manufacturing Company. Dated late 19th century. Taper pieces, both the stoppers and the body are embellished with Art Nouveau floral ornaments and engraved monogram 'MSW.' Gorham Mgf. Co. hallmark, 'S. 1593' mark on the rim. The Gorham Manufacturing Company was one of the largest American manufacturers of sterling and silverplate and a foundry for bronze sculpture, established in 1831.
