19TH C RUSSIAN SILVER NIELLO SNUFF BOX MOSCOW ND HALLMARKS - An early 19th-century Russian silver niello snuff box, crafted in Moscow. Rectangular in form with rounded corners, the hinged lid features a detailed niello architectural scene depicting a classical domed palace complex within a repeating triangular niello border. The bottom margin of the lid is inscribed ”R. BIÖRSTÄD:”. The reverse side presents a complementary architectural riverbank view within a matching border, while the sides display engine-turned geometric patterning.
