ANTIQUE MEISSEN RETICULATED PORCELAIN FRUIT BASKET - A beautiful late 19th/early 20th-century Meissen porcelain fruit basket. The lozenge-form bowl features complex reticulated (pierced) lattice sides interwoven with hand-painted pink ribbons and accented with applied green leaves. The piece is raised on four scrolled feet detailed in aqua and gold. The central reserve and four side cartouches are finely hand-painted with vibrant fruit and floral sprays.
