A FINE CONTINENTAL SMALLSWORD - Portugues or Spanish, the elegant silver hilt superbly chiseled and pierced throughout, the fine, straight,double-edged blade etched with vinework and struck in the fullers SEBASTANO HERNANDEZ on one side and EN TOLEDO. Late 17th-early 18th century. The blade likely made by an Italian smith using the name of the famed Spanish maker. Overall length 94.4 cm / 37 1/4”. Condition II
