With distinct central ridge terminating in a characteristic drooping lower edge, with rolled borders and en suite backplate with leather straps. Mid-19th century. Worn overall. Overall height 50.5 cm/ 19.9 inches. Possibly made for the Eglinton Tournament. Condition III
