AN ARAB KHANJAR DAGGER - A rare example of Hijazi type, known as a Dharia, the grip mounted entirely in silver with filigreed bosses, the wooden scabbard mounted in engraved silver with brass panels. The handwrought blade broad, lightly curved and double-edged. Retains its original embroidered leather belt. 19th- early 20th century. Minor areas of wear, repair to scabbard. Overall length 53cm / 20 7/8”. Condition II
