Vintage Japanese Satsuma Dragon Vase & Geisha Lamp - Vintage Japanese export porcelain including a satsuma moriage dragon vase and a figural geisha lamp. Vase features a large, hand-molded Imperial Dragon wrapped around the upper body in three-dimensional relief. Also decorated in moriage (raised enamel dotting) and gold-gilt filigree. Hand-painted portraits depicts immortals. Lamp features a molded porcelain Geisha figure. Lamp body displays hand-painted landscape scene with pagoda and more. Outfitted with antique-style brass crown collar and vintage turn-key switch. Untested. Each piece is marked ”Made in Japan” on underside. Good condition overall. Note dragon vase has hole in ceramic base as shown. Pieces inspected under black light and show no other apparent breaks or restorations. Minor shelf wear and aged patina to brass. Larger measures approx. 17.5” H (to top of bulb) x 7.5” W x 6” D.
