Antique Painted Opaline Glass Floral Oil Lamp GWTW - Hand-painted opaline glass oil lamp featuring enameled yellow chrysanthemum floral motifs, made circa late 19th century/Victorian era. Also regarded as a GWTW or ”Gone With The Wind” lamp for its hurricane-style shade and unique style. Mounted on ornate cast-brass pierced base with period scrollwork and foliage feet. Brass burner mechanism intact at top with original textured adjustment dial. Comes with hurricane shade. Very good condition. Minor shelf wear, brass patina. Measures approx. 7” diameter, 14” high without shade.
