Tibetan Ghanta Bell & Tingsha Cymbals, Hand Bell - Three ritual and meditation sound instruments: Tibetan Ghanta (Drilbu) bell, Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals and vintage Georgian brass hand bell. Tibetan Ghanta (Drilhu) bell: A traditional Buddhist ritual bell. Decorative half-vajra (dorje) handle, symbolizing wisdom. Green verdigris oxidation with cast relief detailing around rim. Internal metal clapper attached and intact. Tibetan Tingsha Cymbals: Small prayer cymbals joined by strap. Cast relief lettering featuring sacred ”Om Mani Padme Hum” mantra, one of the most well-known and revered expressions in Tibetan Buddhism. Mantra is said to purify negative karma, open the heart to compassion and bring one closer to enlightenment. Vintage Georgian brass hand bell: Traditional turned-handle hand bell. Multi-tone metal construction with wood handle and metal accent grip. Classic flared rim. Good condition. Oxidation on all items that adds to their antique/vintage characters. Strap on cymbals shows age but remains functional. Faded surface on hand bell's wooden handle. Largest (Ghanta bell) measures approx. 2.5”Lx2.5”Wx5.75”H.
