Chinese Blue & White Porcelain Jardiniere Pair - Pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain jardiniere planters. Each features continuous, hand-painted ”Shanshui” (mountain-water) panoramic coastal landscape. Exterior artwork dynamically depicts traditional misty lakes, fishing boats, small village dwellings and pagodas nestled among sharp mountain peaks and flying birds. Flared top rims embellished with delicate stylized floral and scroll border. Interior bases pre-drilled with central drainage hole. Circa 20th century. Very good condition. Light interior soil residue/staining consistent with practice use as planter. Minor glazing imperfections, small dings on exterior surfaces. Each measures approx. 10.5”Lx10.5”Wx7.5”H.
