Chinese Blue & White Kraak Porcelain Bottle Vase - Antique Chinese blue and white ”Kraak” porcelain bottle vase. Circa Ming Dynasty, Wanli Period (1573-1619). Heavily potted pear-shaped (”yuhuchunping”) body rises from short, straight foot to tall, slender neck that tapers gently before flaring slightly at the rim. Exterior vibrantly painted in underglaze cobalt blue, utilizing the characteristic ”Kraak” style panel division. Alternating vertical panels enclosing galloping horses and floral sprays. Ruyi-head and diaper-pattern border at rim. Very good condition. Very minor pinholes, light surface scratches, minor fritting to foot rim, which is typical of Wanli period Kraak wares.
