19th C Chinese Famille Rose Ginger Jar - 19th century Chinese porcelain ginger jar of globular form, hand-painted in famille rose enamels with a figural scene depicting boys at play within a garden landscape, surrounded by stylized rockwork, trees, and flowering branches. Additionally decorated with 2 iron-red bats. Fitted with a later carved wooden lid. Measures approx. 9” to top of lid x 8” Diameter. Condition is as seen in photography.
