Seronson Elaborately Carved Wall Barometer - Antique carved wood wall-mounted weather station combining aneroid barometer and thermometer. Beautifully housed in heavily detailed carved wood case in Victorian gothic revival style. Thermometer marked in Celsius. Barometer features European weather indicators including Stormy and Ostadigt, which is Swedish for unstable/changeable, alongside brass and steel tracking needles. Circa 1880-1900, Sweden origin. Bottom of dial reads C.J. Seronson, Waldemarsvik, Jmport. Built-in hanging loop on reverse. Untested. Very good cosmetic condition, some wood fading/patina and minor scratches.
