Egyptian Revival Directoire Mahogany Gilt Armchair - Egyptian Revival Directoire Mahogany Gilt Armchair approx. 32” tall & 26” wide. This style of chair incorporates elements from both the Directoire period (late 18th century) & the Egyptian Revival movement from the early 19th century following Napoleon's campaigns in Egypt. Chair has intricate carvings w/ beautiful gilded pharaoh heads at the end of each arm. See photos for further details.
