Vintage Indian Rebellion of 1857 Lead Chess Set - Painted lead chess set of British Colonial & Indian Rebellion soldiers & leaders during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. The Indian rebel side is labeled, ”The Forces of the Rebellion”. The British side is labeled, ”The Queen's Forces Against the Mutineers”. The rebellion king piece is Bahadur Shah Zafar & the British king piece appears to be Charles Canning. King pieces are approx. 3.25” tall. Pieces were crafted in Malaysia.
