Leech Tyson Mahogany Grandfather Clock - Leech Tyson Mahogany Grandfather Clock. 13 in. painted metal dial signed ?Leech Tyson, Philad.?, Roman hour numerals, sub seconds dial cutout aperture arch exposing the sub calendar dial, scenic moon phase dial with country scene and portrait of a ship and seashell painted corner spandrels; brass 8 day weight driven movement with recoil escapement, hour drop hammer bell strike at the top, repeater lever, brass pulleys and iron weights painted gold, has a long steel pendulum rod with brass covered bob. In a carved mahogany case with broken arch & pediment crest having a turned flame finial, turned corner columns on the front and back of the bonnet and stands on turned feet. In good overall condition, missing a few minor moldings and has a replacement (brass) center finial to the bonnet, case has an enhanced original finish. 95 in. high x 19 in. wide x 10 in. deep.
