Inuit Eskimo Fish Hook Artifacts (3)
Three fossilized walrus cod hooks from Savoonga, Alaska from St. Lawrence Island area. Inuit, Inupiac made components. Hooks have been tied with sinew for display. Largest approx 2" L. Age of components are estimated to be 500+ years old. Note: small damaged hook is carved from a single piece.
