Inuit Eskimo Fishing Lure Artifacts (2)
Fossilized walrus bone fish lure decoy with engraved marking. From Savoonga, Alaska in the St. Lawrence Island area. Inuit, Inupiak made. Longest lure measures approx 3 5/8" L. Estimated to be approx 500+ years old. The lure has engraving on both sides (appears to be a kayak). In as found condition.
