The Artist board measuring approximately 11” x 15.5” and the out side dimensions of the frame is approximately 16.5” x 20.75”. The art is nicely framed with some loss to gilding and cracks to the frame as seen in the photos. The Art is from the estate Benjamin Franklin Hammond, PhD. Dr. Hammond was ”an emeritus professor of microbiology in University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine and the school’s former associate dean of academic affairs” (source: University of Pennsylvania's Almanac).
