Gustave Barrier (France 1871-1953) Oil Still Life - Gustave Barrier (France 1871-1953) oil painting still life with Stein, Tureen & Flowers. The board measuring approximately 7.5” x 9.5” and the outside dimensions of the frame is approximately 15” x 19”. The art is nicely framed with some loss and touchup to the gilding and cracks to the frame as seen in the photos. The art is from the estate Benjamin Franklin Hammond, PhD. Dr. Hammond was ”an emeritus professor of microbiology in University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine and the school's former associate dean of academic affairs” (source: University of Pennsylvania's Almanac).
