Antique Japanese Nagoya Obi - Jia Na antique Japanese Nagoya Obi - 19th Century Japanese silk is part of the ”Nature Collection” unveiled at the October 1985 grand opening at High Point Market. This obi was not only worn by women but occasionally worn by priests from the Nagoya area of Japan. This textile is generally worn as a sash and is characterized by handwoven silk with beautiful touches of hand embroidery. It is professionally museum mounted in Jia Na's graceful presentation of a fan like mount and measures approx 478” x 36” OD. Includes a Certificate of Appraisal.
