Andean / Moche Chimi Bird Vessel - This black pottery Chimu Bird vessel approx 4” H x 3.5” diameter attributed to the Chimu people of coastal Peru and made in the form of a bird's head at the spout and a handle. Around the main part of the vessel is a design that looks like ocean waves. This vessel has great patina and some small pitting on neck. Likely centuries old.
