Rolls Razor Imperial Set & K.K. Blade - This lot consists of an English mechanical shaving set and a separate German straight razor blade. The set includes a nickel-plated metal case with a decorative embossed Greek key border and a central circular logo depicting a seated craftsman. The exterior lid features a stamped mark reading ROLLS RAZOR (1927) LTD / PATENTED IN ENGLAND AND ABROAD / ENGLISH PATENTS NUMBERS 108531, 184514, 184515, 184754, 224578, 242717, 242718 AND PENDING / MADE IN ENGLAND. Above the circular logo is a smaller impressed circle containing the numeral 2. The interior of the case houses a handle mechanism and a blade guard stamped ROLLS RAZOR / IMPERIAL BLADE. The oscillating frame mechanism is engraved in a script font with Rolls Razor / Pat No 184514 / 242717. The case interior contains a leather sharpening strop and a whetting stone. The separate straight razor blade is made of steel and is stamped on the tang K. K. & CO. / GERMANY. This blade lacks its original scales or handle.
