Lovell Mfg. Inc. Metal Crucifix & Items - This lot features three religious themed decorative objects: a hand-carved wooden figure, a metal wall crucifix, and a cast cherub figurine. The crucifix is constructed of cast white metal with a brushed satin finish, featuring a corpus of Christ and a separate INRI plaque mounted to a hollow-backed beveled cross. The reverse of the horizontal crossbar is embossed with a maker mark reading LOVELL MFG. INC. WILLIAMS BAY WIS. 53191. The corpus is attached to the cross with a single Phillips-head screw visible on the reverse. The wooden figure is a rustic, hand-carved representation of a robed man with long hair and outstretched arms. It is carved from a single block of medium-toned wood with visible grain and tool marks. The cherub figurine is made of a cast composite material, likely resin or plaster, and depicts a seated winged figure reading an open book. The cherub is finished in white paint with an intentionally distressed aesthetic. No other maker marks or signatures are visible on the wooden figure or the cherub. Wooden figure measures 8 inches in height. Crucifix measures 12 inches in length and approximately 6.25 inches in width. Cherub figurine measures 6.75 inches in height.
