Dr. Kilmer Bottle, Fossils & Brooch - This lot features a sample-sized apothecary bottle, an assortment of fossils, and a brooch. The light aqua-colored glass bottle is mold-blown and bears embossed text on three sides: DR. KILMER'S, SWAMP-ROOT KIDNEY REMEDY, and BINGHAMTON, N.Y. One side is embossed vertically reading SAMPLE BOTTLE. A small piece of dried organic matter remains inside the vessel. The collection includes fossilized crinoid columnals, some of which exhibit a distinct pentagonal or star shape. These are presented in a clear, circular resin disk and a clear glass vial with a black plastic lid. The figurative brooch is composed of a painted alligator figure mounted to a curved, cream-colored base shaped like a tooth. The alligator is finished in green, yellow, and brown paint. A metal pin with a safety catch is attached to the reverse. Measurements: Resin disk: 1.6 inches in diameter Brooch: 1.9 inches in length.
