Cast Iron Horse-Drawn Dump Wagon Toy - A horse-drawn sand and gravel delivery wagon constructed from cast iron. The toy features a red wagon bed with a functional gravity-dump mechanism operated by a cast iron lever on the right side. The wagon bed is supported by a green-painted undercarriage and wheels, with a swiveling front axle assembly. Two horses, one painted black and one painted white, are attached to the green hitching assembly. A removable cast iron driver figure in a silver-toned finish sits at the front, holding onto white string reins. The words SAND & GRAVEL are cast in relief on both sides of the wagon bed, with a centered ampersand. An impressed mark is located on the interior front wall of the wagon bed reading MADE IN U.S.A. in uppercase characters.
