Cast Iron Donkey Wagon w/ Driver - A donkey-drawn pull toy featuring a multi-part construction of cast iron and pressed tin. The figure of a donkey and a seated driver are composed of painted cast iron, as is the red-painted chassis and the two spoked wheels. The yellow-painted stake wagon bed is constructed from pressed tin. The driver is a separate, removable casting seated upon a yellow metal platform. The donkey is harnessed to red-painted cast iron shafts extending from the chassis. A white cord rein is threaded through the donkey's head and the driver's hands. The underside of the red cast iron chassis features an embossed mark on the rear cross member. The characters appear as 9 0 9 T, with the letter T oriented vertically to the right of the numbers.
