Bidspirit auction | Cast Iron Oxen Drawn Log

Cast Iron Oxen Drawn Log Wagon w/ - An oxen-drawn log wagon toy with a seated driver. The toy is constructed of cast iron components, featuring a two-piece team of oxen joined at the center, a removable textured log, and a four-wheeled wagon chassis. The oxen figures are realistically modeled and joined by a yoke, with small metal caster wheels integrated into the base of the front legs for mobility. The wagon consists of a front and rear axle assembly connected by a central reach, with spoked wheels. A separate cast figure of a driver is seated atop the log. The log piece is cast in two halves and bolted together, featuring a deeply textured surface to simulate bark. The assembly is held together by metal pins and screws, several of which appear to be replacement fasteners. No manufacturer name, logo, or country of origin marks are visible on any of the cast surfaces. Length: 14 inches.
