ERTL Cockshutt 570 Die-Cast Tractor - This is an ERTL 1/16 scale die-cast model of a Cockshutt 570 farm tractor. The piece features a tan body with black rubber tires and plastic accents, including a black steering wheel and a gray exhaust pipe. The tractor includes a steerable front axle connected to the steering wheel and free-rolling wheels. The left and right sides of the hood feature decals reading C O C K S H U T T and 570. Cast into the metal on the lower right frame is the manufacturer mark ERTL DYERSVILLE, IOWA 52040 MADE IN U.S.A. Additionally, the left side of the engine block is cast with the commemorative text FARM TOY MUSEUM COMMEMORATIVE 1987. The tractor is accompanied by its original white cardboard box, which bears a black-and-white illustration of the National Farm Toy Museum in Dyersville, Iowa. The box front is printed with ERTL and NATIONAL FARM TOY MUSEUM Dyersville, Iowa. The reverse side of the box provides technical specifications for the original Cockshutt 570 manufactured between 1958 and 1960 and a brief history of the James G. Cockshutt factory. The end flap is printed with 1987 THE ERTL COMPANY Dyersville, Iowa 52040 U.S.A. Subsidiary of Kidde, Inc. Made in U.S.A. along with model numbers 4115-10PA and 4115PA. A stamped blue number 2908 is also visible in a designated box on the end flap.
