Mid-C. Cotton Scrap Quilt - 83 x 70 in. A mid-century American scrap quilt featuring a variation of a pinwheel or star pattern. The quilt is constructed from a wide assortment of cotton and cotton-blend fabrics, including vintage prints such as florals, plaids, ginghams, stripes, and novelty feedsack-style patterns. The design consists of square blocks with diagonal piecing, separated by solid-colored sashing in shades of pink, blue, tan, grey, and red. The piece is finished with a blue and white gingham checkered binding.
