Antique Gilt Cast Eagle & Sphere Finial - 19 in. A gilt cast metal finial modeled as a spread-winged eagle perched atop an integral dome and hollow sphere. The eagle is depicted with wings downturned and head turned to sinister, showing cast feather texturing across the breast, back, and wings. The finial is mounted on a slender painted metal rod fitted into a stepped black-painted wooden base. The upper oval tier of the wooden base features an impressed rectangular stamp reading RJECO.
