Mexican Falsa Geometric Textile Blanket - 72 x 50 in. A handwoven Mexican Falsa style textile featuring a geometric horizontal banded design. The flat-weave construction is composed of alternating stripes in cream, tan, chocolate brown, and navy blue. Within the cream and tan bands are stylized geometric motifs resembling abstract avian shapes or thunderbirds, woven in navy blue and white. The yarns are multi-tonal with small flecks of various colored fibers throughout, characteristic of recycled fiber blends including cotton and acrylic.
