Bidspirit auction | Degenhart Slag Glass Pooch Figurines

Degenhart Slag Glass Pooch Figurines - 3 in. Tall; glassware with light. Six pressed glass figurines, each modeled in the form of a seated dog with a bearded muzzle, commonly referred to as the Pooch. The set features a diverse array of slag glass compositions, including opaque white, semi-translucent peach, red-brown, two variations of amber and brown swirls, and a yellow and orange swirl. The glass exhibits the characteristic opaque marbling and glossy finish associated with mid-century slag glass production. Each figurine bears a trademark mark on the lower right haunch.
