Pair Summit Art Glass Uranium Figurines - 5.5 in. Tall; glass shade on light. A pair of hand-pressed slag glass figurines in the form of a woman in a tiered, ruffled bell-shaped dress, often referred to as a Southern Belle or colonial girl. Each figure is depicted wearing a wide-brimmed bonnet and holding a fan in her right hand. The glass is a marbled lime green and opaque white slag glass which exhibits a bright green fluorescence under ultraviolet light, characteristic of uranium glass. The interior of the bells is hollow.
