US Silver Mercury Dimes - 20 dimes. A collection of US Mercury dimes, also known as Winged Liberty Head dimes, composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse of each coin features a portrait of Liberty wearing a winged Phrygian cap with the inscription LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse design features a Roman fasces wrapped in an olive branch with the legends UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and the denomination ONE DIME. Dates visible across the collection include 1917, 1918, 1920, 1926, 1934, 1935, 1936, 1940, 1941, 1942, and 1943. The coins feature reeded edges. The 1941 specimen on the third row, second from left, and the 1926 specimen on the bottom row, far right, appear to have a D mint mark on the reverse. The 1942 specimen on the third row, far left, appears to have an S mint mark on the reverse.
