Green Opalescent Swung Glass Vase - 12.5 inches tall. A tall green opalescent glass vase, produced using pressed and swung glass techniques. The piece features a translucent green body that transitions into a milky white opalescence at the rim. The form is characterized by a fluted, paneled body that was manually stretched or swung to achieve its height and a wide, ruffled mouth. The base is circular and flares outward, featuring a molded sunburst or starburst pattern on the underside. No maker's marks, signatures, or labels are visible on the glass. The interior of the vase is hollowed through to the base, typical of mid-century American art glass production.
