Pair Wagner Ware No. 6 Skillets - This lot comprises a pair of American cast iron skillets manufactured in Sidney, Ohio. Both pieces are size number 6, indicated by an incised number 6 on the top of the handle near the skillet wall. The skillets feature a smooth bottom design consistent with the mid-20th-century production era. The underside of each skillet is marked at the 12 o'clock position with an impressed mark reading WAGNER in a curved arc, followed by WARE, SIDNEY, and - O - in straight lines. At the 6 o'clock position, the skillets bear individual catalog and mold marks. One skillet is impressed with the code 1056 L, and the second skillet is impressed with the code 1056 O. Both pans are equipped with dual pour spouts and a teardrop-shaped hanging hole in the handle.
