Cast Iron Oval Roaster with Grid - A cast iron oval roaster featuring two integrated open-loop handles and an embossed grid-reinforced underside. The body is deep with rounded ends, and the reinforced base is divided into six rectangular panels by raised ribs. The piece stands on four small, integral feet cast into the base at the intersections of the grid. An impressed mark is present within one of the central panels on the underside, consisting of a dash between two characters, transcribed as -S and a partially obscured character that appears to be a 7. No country-of-origin marks or other manufacturer labels are visible.
