Japanese Gnomes & Plastic Angels - This collection features a variety of mid-century Christmas decorations characterized by mixed-material construction. The group includes several gnome figures with composition heads, painted facial features, and blue eyes. These figures utilize natural pinecone scales or felt for their bodies, accented with chenille pipe-cleaner limbs and mohair-style beards. Decorative elements include pointed felt hats in teal, red, and yellow, alongside accessories such as a miniature gold-toned gift box, a green bottle-brush tree, and a small red wooden lantern. The undersides of four gnome bases are stamped with a black printed mark reading JAPAN. One base retains a circular paper fragment with a stamp containing the numerals 10 and the word JAPAN. Another base features a small blue adhesive label reading JAPAN. The collection also contains molded plastic angel figurines. A boxed set titled SIX ANGEL MUSICIANS in blue script features figures in pearlescent pink, blue, and white gowns with gold-painted wings and musical instruments including a harp, cello, flute, violin, and lute.
