Bidspirit auction | 15 Glass Figural Ornaments

15 Glass Figural Ornaments - A collection of fifteen vintage-style figural Christmas ornaments, crafted from hand-blown silvered glass. The assortment features a variety of polychrome lacquer finishes, hand-painted details, and white or gold glitter accents. The group includes several figural Santa Claus heads with molded facial features and glittered hat trim, a double-scoop ice cream cone, a red apple with green leaves, and an elephant head. Other specialized forms include two musicians in purple and red attire, one playing a cello and one a saxophone, a ladybug, a decorated cupcake, a floral basket, a silver-toned handbag with rose motifs, and a textured silver sphere featuring a red teddy bear in relief. Each ornament is fitted with a metal cap and a wire hanging loop. The metal caps vary in finish from silver-toned to gold-toned and feature scalloped edges. Several caps bear embossed text; while a circular arrangement of characters is visible, the specific maker name or country of origin is not clearly legible.
