Bow Tie Patchwork Quilt - 67 x 80 inches. Some stains on the back. A handmade American patchwork quilt featuring a Bow Tie pattern, a design also known as a Wheel or a variant of the Drunkard's Path. The quilt is constructed from a variety of mid-century scrap textiles, including cotton and cotton-blend floral calico prints, ginghams, solid colors, and woven plaids. The individual blocks are set within a grid composed of light blue sashing and white cornerstones. The piece is finished with a red border and a white fabric binding. The construction features dense hand-stitched utility quilting in a linear diagonal pattern. The reverse of the quilt is a solid white fabric.
