1880-S US Morgan Silver Dollar MS 63 - A US Morgan silver dollar, dated 1880, composed of 90% silver and 10% copper. The obverse features the left-facing profile of Liberty with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM and the date 1880. The reverse shows a heraldic eagle with the inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, IN GOD WE TRUST, and the denomination ONE DOLLAR. The mint mark S is located on the reverse above the DO of DOLLAR. The coin is encapsulated in a Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) grading slab. The white and tan paper label inside the slab is printed with 1880 S S$1, MS 63, and the certification number 340060-004. A hologram on the reverse of the slab features the text NUMISMATIC GUARANTY CORPORATION OF AMERICA.
