US 50 States 24K Gold Coin Set (50) - A complete collection of 50 United States 25-cent coins from the Statehood Quarters program, dated 1999 through 2008. These coins are uncirculated business strikes from the Denver Mint, identified by the D mint mark on the obverse. Each coin has been aftermarket layered in 24-karat gold. The set is housed in two blue presentation folders titled 50 States Commemorative Quarters Volume I and Volume II, featuring a gold-toned eagle motif. The interior of the folders consists of recessed boards with protective plastic capsules, organized chronologically by the date of each state's admission to the Union, accompanied by printed state names and flags. The collection includes two certificates of authenticity. One is an adhesive-sealed document from Collectors Alliance, Inc. titled Contract of Guarantee for The Ultimate Golden Coin Collection, bearing the printed signature of Steven J. Klimek, President. The second is a larger certificate from The Morgan Mint for the Statehood Quarter Dollars 24 KT. Gold Layered Edition, which includes a printed signature of Kenneth E. Bressett, Numismatist. The folders also contain printed historical information regarding the history of the Denver Mint.
