Lee Tires Rubber Tire Desk Clock - Untested. Height: 7.5 inches. An electric desk clock housed within a miniature Lee Conshohocken rubber tire. The promotional item features a circular clock face with a cream-colored center and a silver-toned outer ring. The face is printed with black Arabic numerals from 1 to 12 and decorative black hour and minute hands, along with a red sweep second hand. The central portion of the face is printed with the brand logo in red text reading LEE Conshohocken Tires. Below the six o'clock position, the face is marked WHITEHALL-HAMMOND SYNCHRONOUS MOVEMENT. The clock is set into a black rubber tire housing, which is molded with the text LEE Conshohocken on the top sidewall and TRUCK - BUS on the bottom sidewall. The unit is supported by a simple wire stand. The reverse features a metal back plate with two adjustment knobs. Text on the back plate is impressed and reads START / TURN-LET GO with a directional arrow, and SET TIME with a directional arrow. Additional impressed text states CURRENT INTERRUPTIONS WILL STOP CLOCK-RESTART & RESET, and lists several United States patent numbers including 1,719,805, 1,797,912, 1,935,388, 2,002,421, 2,003,116, 2,013,208, and 2,027,531, followed by OTHERS PEND. The lower section of the back plate is marked MADE IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and specifies the electrical requirements as 115V-60 CYCLE-2W.
