c. Mid-20th C. US Military M1 Liner - A mid-20th-century US military M1 helmet liner constructed from high-pressure molded plastic-impregnated fabric. The exterior features a smooth, dark olive drab finish. The interior contains a standard cotton webbing suspension system comprised of olive drab H-straps secured to the body with metal washers and rivets. A leather sweatband is attached to the webbing by a series of metal spring clips. A nape strap is also present at the rear of the suspension. No legible manufacturer marks, dates, or stamps are visible on the interior crown or the webbing components in the provided images.Measurements/notes: 10.5 in. L x 7 in. H.
