US Gov. Molded Fiber Sun Helmet - A military sun helmet constructed from a molded fiber material. The exterior features a wide, rounded brim and a high dome, finished in a light tan or khaki shade. The interior contains a suspension system comprised of tan canvas webbing straps secured with metal grommets and a brown leather forehead pad. On the interior underside of the brim, the helmet features an embossed marking in three lines of capital letters. The first line is impressed as U. S. G O V T., the second line as P R O P E R T Y, and the third line contains the characters Q C followed by a character that is partially obscured but resembles an O or an A.Measurements/notes: 13 in.
