Set 3 Metal & Cast Iron Banks - This group features three distinct coin banks: a cast iron pig, a cylindrical brass-toned Platter Fund bank, and a mechanical metal register bank. The cast iron piggy bank is designed with a stylized form and features a hand-painted cream finish with black spots. The underside of the pig has a black plastic circular stopper. The cylindrical bank is constructed from brass-toned metal and features a relief application on the front depicting a vinyl record with the text PLATTER FUND. It has a single horizontal coin slot on the side and a recessed circular lid on top. The base of this bank has four rectangular openings. The third item is a rectangular metal register bank with a blue faceplate. The faceplate is printed in white with the name NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA BANK & TRUST CO. and features two viewing windows displaying numeric dials for dollars and cents, currently showing 14 and 45. The underside of the register bank features an embossed metal door with the name ADD-A-COIN BANK.
