Bronze Hammered Memorial Vase - A cast metal memorial vase, likely bronze given its weight and oxidation, featuring a tapered trumpet form. The body is decorated with an all-over hammered texture and a dark brown patinated finish. A single vertical polished stripe of gold-toned metal runs down the length of the exterior. The flared rim is finished with a matching gold-toned highlight. The vessel is mounted on a circular, tiered base with a continuing hammered texture. The interior of the vase reveals a rough, granular cast surface and a vertical seam line resulting from the casting process. The underside of the base is hollow with a structural cross-brace and a dark protective coating.
