Wood Folk Art Sculpture: Seated Man - A hand-carved wood folk art sculpture depicting a seated, bearded male figure. The man wears a broad-brimmed hat and a voluminous, flowing robe with heavy drapery folds. He is portrayed in a hunched posture, clutching a large ribbed gourd or pumpkin against his lap. The figure is set within a stylized vertical structure that forms a canopy over his head, textured to resemble a thatched roof or large leaf, supported by a trunk-like back. The entire piece is carved from a single block of medium-toned wood, characterized by prominent grain and visible chisel marks throughout the surface. No signatures, maker marks, or labels are present on the exterior of the sculpture.Measurements/notes: Approximately 6 in. L x 18 in. H.
